Pure Storage FlashArray Achieves VMware Ready Status

We are proud to announce that Pure Storage FlashArray has successfully completed the tests required for achieving VMware Ready certification, and is now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). This gives the FlashArray VMware Ready status for VMware ESXi 5.0 and ESXi 5.0 U1.

The storage certification for VMware ESXi assures customers that Pure Storage FlashArray has gone through the rigorous interoperability testing that one would expect from a enterprise class array being deployed in a production VMware environment.  For the many customers who already have our box in production after doing their own due diligence this comes as no surprise. In addition the certification ensures full joint support of the VMware/Pure Storage solution, with joint support activities managed through a mutual relationship with TSAnet to coordinate joint issue troubleshooting and cooperative resolution.

This first achievement of VMware Ready status is just the beginning of the VMware integration roadmap for Pure Storage…stay tuned for more in the coming months.
