Industry Veteran Joins Startup From Xiotech to Spearhead Global Operations and Logistics
Mountain View, CA – April 28, 2011 — Pure Storage today announced it has appointed industry veteran Todd Engle as vice president of operations. In this role, Engle will help shape global operations, the supply chain and strategic vendor relationships for the company.

Todd Engle joins Pure Storage after 12 years at Xiotech, where he served as VP of manufacturing. Under Engle's direction, Xiotech successfully expanded its global manufacturing operations, implemented an improved supply chain management system and streamlined its order fulfillment processes, achieving 99-percent on-time delivery and 95-percent production forecast accuracy.
Prior to Xiotech, Engle served as director of business operations at Computer Network Technologies, where he successfully automated the company's sales, revenue and production forecasting systems. He holds a BA in accounting from Metropolitan State University.
