GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

Once called "the bridge that couldn't be built," today it is one the seven wonders of the modern world. This magnificent span, perhaps San Francisco's most famous landmark, opened in 1937 after a four-year struggle against relentless winds, fog, rock and treacherous tides.

PIER 39

PIER 39 is a 45-acre waterfront complex that is a gathering place for millions of San Francisco locals and visitors. PIER 39 is known for its spectacular views of San Francisco Bay including the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge and Alcatraz, as well as the world famous California sea lions hauled out on K-Dock.

FISHERMAN'S WHARF

As San Francisco’s #1 destination, they have numerous offers for visiting guests and for local Bay Area residents alike. The crisp, sea salt air and fabulous views are just the beginning of a memorable experience. You’ll find San Francisco’s freshest seafood at world-class restaurants.

GHIRARDELLI SQUARE

Come experience the wonders of Ghirardelli Chocolate along with local shops and restaurants, while enjoying an unforgettable view!

ALCATRAZ ISLAND

Alcatraz and history go hand in hand. Once home to some of America's most notorious criminals, the federal penitentiary that operated here from 1934 to 1963 brought a dark mystique to the Rock. The presence of infamous inmates like Al "Scarface" Capone, and the "Birdman" Robert Stroud helped to establish the island's notoriety. To this day, Alcatraz is best known as one of the world's most legendary prisons.

UNION SQUARE

Union Square San Francisco is a wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon of shopping, indulge in a delicious meal, sip a cup of coffee at an outdoor café, catch a show, grab drinks with friends or just people watch. All this plus a wide array of fabulous hotels where you can rest in comfort make Union Square San Francisco a gathering place and destination.
