In this month’s session, we’ll discuss the backup SDK PowerShell module to the GUI, our Pure Storage® FlashArray Management Extension for Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (aka FA SSMS Extension). With this, you can manage backup and restore operations on local and remote databases from a centralized SSMS deployment. 

We will demonstrate both GUI and Posh, application consistent snapshots using the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) hardware provider.  You, our customers, asked for vVols and that is what we provided! We are excited to show you this new feature in action.
