VMUG vSphere NVMe over Fabrics

As applications and their architectures change swiftly and dramatically one thing remains constant: the need for greater levels of performance and performance density. All-flash changed the game initially, but was held back by SCSI. NVMe was designed to fully open up the performance of flash, and can be extended over fabrics for SAN-based storage. ESXi added support to NVMe-oF in ESXi 7.0 and Pure Storage as a design partner, supports both RoCEv2 and Fibre Channel with NVMe. In this session, you will learn the details on what NVMe-oF is, how to configure it RoCEv2 and FC, and details on how it works within vSphere itself.
