Nexylan expands its IT infrastructure with Pure Storage FlashArray and now provides its clients with a new highly performant virtualization services offering, at a competitive price.
Paris, February, 7 2017 - Pure Storage (NYSE:PSTG), the market’s leading independent solid-state array vendor, today announced that Nexylan, managed hosting solutions provider, chose FlashArray in order to boost its performance and to offer its clients a 100 percent flash offering, with high performance.
Nexylan, founded in 2009, provides hosting solutions to companies with complex web projects, and posted sales of €1,2 million in 2015. With around 15 employees split between Roubaix and Luxembourg, the company counts amongst its clients several major groups, such as Leroy Merlin, Decathlon and Auchan.
“As our business grew over the years, we had to host more and more virtual servers on our storage infrastructure,” said Gaëtan Allart, President and Founder, Nexylan. “To face this challenge, we decided to look into new solutions on the market that were capable of supporting our projects and the innovations that we wanted to offer our customers.”
Following the recommendation of its partners, Nexylan team reached out to Pure, “Pure Storage’s technical presentation immediately impressed us, through the ease of access to the product and its efficiency. It is the first time that we have experienced such a situation,” stated Allart. Nexylan was also impressed by Pure Storage arrays’ reliability and extreme low level of maintenance.
Allart expressed satisfisfaction with the results so far, “In terms of raw bandwidth, we have noticed a five-fold increase in performance with the flash technology from Pure when compared to the performance of legacy technology. The ease of management and maintenance of FlashArray allows us to reduce the time we spend managing our storage, allowing us to concentrate on other tasks, and increase our performance levels.”
