We’ve partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital version of your certification badge. Pure Storage digital badges help you demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and achievements with the world.

Share your digital badge on social media platforms, email signatures, blogs, and other online spaces relevant to your professional activities. Pure Storage digital badges confirm your credentials to your employer, colleagues, and more. Anyone can click through to a page that identifies the certification you’ve received, the skills you’ve developed, and the programs you’ve completed.

What is an open badge?

Open badges are web-enabled versions of a credential, certification, or learning outcome that can be verified online in real time.

How does my certification get displayed as a badge?

Each certification badge is issued and managed through Credly, which is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. You can manage, share, and verify your competencies digitally through Credly.

How will I know if I’ve earned a badge?

You will receive an email notification from Credly with instructions for setting up your account and claiming your badge.

What if I don’t want my badge to be public?

You can configure your privacy settings in Credly. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.

What prevents others from copying my badge and using it?

Badges are data image files that are uniquely identified to data hosted by Credly. The link to the verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.

Where and how can I share my badge through Credly?

Share your badge directly from Credly on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. You can use it in email, on a website, and in your email signature.

Can I export badges issued through Credly to other badge-storing platforms?

Yes. You can download your badge from the Credly Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) metadata. This allows you to store your badge on the other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Mozilla backpack.
