Flash Meets Cloud At 2014 EVOLVE Conference In San Francisco

Mountain View, CA – August 25, 2014 – Pure Storage, the all-flash enterprise storage array company, will host its second annual EVOLVE conference August 28th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. The half-day event commences immediately following VMworld, and will feature keynote presentations from VMware cofounder and former CTO Mendel Rosenblum, panel discussions with IT leaders and innovators, and a special guest appearance from Jay Pharoah of Saturday Night Live.

Designed to unite IT end users, resellers, vendors, innovators, and influencers, EVOLVE offers attendees a unique forum to explore the convergence of next generation technologies that are driving business transformation, through interactive discussions, real world use cases, and technical breakout sessions. In this hyper-converged world, where the architecture of IT systems is in a constant state of disruption, this theory seems to have a second home. Moderated by Ben Woo, research analyst at Gigaom Research, and founder and managing director of Neuralytix, Inc., this panel features forward leaning IT innovators that will debate both where and how quickly the macro-trends of cloud, flash and data analytics are changing (and into what, exactly). Panelists include former Netflix cloud architect and Battery Ventures technology fellow Adrian Cockcroft; Justin Stottlemyer, distinguished infrastructure engineer at Intuit; Neil Vaccharachani, architect at Pure Storage; and Karthik Ramasamy, engineering manager of real time analytics at Twitter.

• Celebrity Keynote with SNL’s Jay Pharoah and Networking Reception: 5:15 – 10:00 PM PT
