Match Group’s E&E division embarked on a private cloud re-architecture project for data growth and cost optimization. The company needed the ability to scale infrastructure by two to three times to make room for more workloads, plus machine learning and AI, while reducing costs. It needed to cut power and cooling in half and better support snapshots, because performance impacts from snapshots on the previous storage platform stood in the way of full ransomware recovery.
Results
