Everpure Protect Service is an on-demand, cyber-recovery service for VMware VMs, enabling recovery to either native AWS EC2 instances or a secondary vSphere site. By provisioning recovery VMs only when needed, you significantly lower both costs and complexity compared to traditional disaster recovery solutions.

How does Everpure Protect Service keep my data safe?

We store only VM metadata in the Pure1® cloud. All customer data remains fully under the customer’s control, residing either on their on-premises VMware environment or within their own AWS account.

My VMware VMs are stored on another vendor’s storage. Can I still use Everpure Protect Service?

Yes. Everpure Protect Service is designed to work with VMware VMs regardless of the underlying storage vendor. While it is optimised for the Everpure FlashArray™, Everpure Protect Service also leverages VMware’s vStorage APIs for data protection (VADP) for VMs on other hardware, making it fully storage agnostic.

Is Everpure Protect Service a fully managed service?

Everpure Protect Service orchestrates cyber recovery by utilizing either a secondary VMware site or your AWS organisation for failover and storage. To enable this, you will need to deploy a VM appliance on-premises, which is centrally managed through Everpure Protect Service. While Everpure Protect Service streamlines management and orchestration, you are still responsible for managing your AWS account, secondary VMware site, and any associated costs incurred throughout your use of the Everpure Protect Service service.

Can Everpure Protect Service benefit from FlashArray?

While Everpure Protect Service is storage agnostic, our integration with Everpure FlashArray provides lower SLA for those critical VM applications.
