When you're looking at cases like stroke studies, having high-performance systems is, critical because there are important decisions that need to be made. My name is Tom Hasley. I'm the CIO for Lucid Health. We are a managed service organization for physicians based in Columbus, Ohio. Lucid Health has between 300 to 400

radiologists on staff, and we do close to 5 million studies a year that are read by the radiologists, a pretty large organization. We need something that was highly available and high speed because we deal with radiology images and radiology PACS imaging systems that require high-speed processing.

We brought in Pure Storage in summer of 2022 to solve a lot of disparate storage operations. Putting together too many disparate systems just made it harder to manage, bringing Pure in helped unify our storage solution. And helped us lay the foundation for an enterprise solution at Lucid Health. We primarily use FlashBlade and then we use the Evergreen technology for our upgrades.

We don't see any downtime from those, which has been fantastic, and we're working in conjunction with Pure Storage to better safeguard our data from any corruption or changes. We have seen a smaller footprint. Using Pure Storage, we're able to reduce a couple of the racks in our data center, but it was more of an investment into our path forward.

I do see Pure Storage fitting into the future of data. Again, having that data highly available and accessible is critical, and making it easier for people to manage that data is really what will help us in the future.
