How is pure storage, making your data safer and storage smarter. In this edition of launch, round up, we're talking enhanced data security, seamless upgrades and powerful analytics. So mount up those volumes and let's get to it. Welcome back everyone to the pure launch round up where we bring you all the latest enhancements and innovations from across the pure storage platform.

And we begin with a number of enhancements to help you improve your security and cyber resilience for our flash array customers. The new purity fa version 6610 introduces better data security by auditing file access. So for your SMB and NFS shares, all access events can be captured and recorded to a local file or sent to a remote CIS log server.

And this is gonna help you to better investigate and even mitigate any malicious or accidental file manipulation. This new version also offers true end to one asynchronous fan in replication for snapshots as opposed to the limits of previous versions, meaning you can keep more copies of your snapshots to better improve your data protection and recovery.

For example, you could have a single array as a replication target located at a disaster recovery site to keep copies of your snapshots from across your entire fleet. Thus simplifying your data protection and optimizing your target infrastructure costs. If you're looking to leverage file services on your flash arrays, or maybe you're just curious, then log into pure one and check out the new file services

option in the workload planner. This will let you model what a typical file services deployment will look like on your hardware. Now, file services as well as all other workloads are based on analyzing actual customer workloads running on pure storage to give you the best overall starting point for your workload planning.

Now VM Analytics in pure one helps customers to manage and troubleshoot complex VM ware environments by giving them insights into every layer of their virtual storage. Whether it's a traditional VMFS, data store, Valls NFS or even Vsan,

you'll be able to quickly troubleshoot and identify bottlenecks. The latest release of VM analytics offers better filtering. So you can focus on just one type of storage or even VM and host power states. And if you're using NFS data stores, the new VM analytics can map your VM to a managed directory complete with FQD and support self service upgrades are a great way to repair

for and upgrade your storage whenever it's convenient for you. Whether you have a single array or if you have many. But if you have more than one flash array, then listen up because self service upgrades now support bulk operations, meaning you can select multiple arrays and perform pre upgrade health checks, download and stage binaries and of course initiate upgrades for those arrays
