Industry veteran to leverage experience from EMC, HP, Salesforce.com, joins Pure Storage to amplify company’s global go-to-market machine
Mountain View, Calif. — June 23, 2015 — Pure Storage, the market’s leading independent solid-state array vendor, today announced that Jonathan Martin will join the company as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Martin will utilize his global enterprise experience to lead and execute Pure Storage’s worldwide marketing strategy as the company scales through its next phase of natural growth. He joins Pure Storage from EMC where he spent the last four years, most recently as CMO. Prior to that, he spent five years at HP Software in a variety of roles, including CMO. Martin will report directly to Pure Storage President, David Hatfield.

Martin holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and is a member of the CMO Council. He will be based in Mountain View and his first day at Pure Storage will be in July.
