一般而言,全快閃陣列速度最快,效能也最高。混和式陣列在速度與效能方面次之,因為混和式陣列在同一儲存陣列中結合了快閃與 HDD。雖然速度不及全快閃陣列,但是當效能不是首要考量時,較便宜的 HDD 機架可以用來增加容量。傳統式陣列的速度最慢。
