For September’s Coffee Break, Andrew Miller invites industry veteran and 6+ year Puritan Don Kirouac. Don is currently the technical lead at Everpure for product sustainability. Along with his day job, he now dreams at night of kilowatts, supply chains, and full product life cycle analysis. Although in a previous life, he was the top ActiveCluster™ subject matter expert. In some ways, this will be a sequel to last year’s session: “Tired of Energy Savings & Efficiency Gas”-lighting? Better Science is the Answer.” That one was with Brian Gold (yes, that Brian Gold the former rocket scientist).

During this session, we’ll further into:

Don’s history across the industry and career lessons he has learned
How Everpure looks at sustainability and energy efficiency across our entire portfolio and why it matters to you (hint: there might be industry-wide energy shortages coming–you can thank AI)

We’ll also prove these bold claims:

Up to 85% less energy than other all flash solutions
Over 800 times improvement in data stored (terabytes) per unit of energy (Watts) consumed compared to our earliest product models
DirectFlash® modules that require 1000 times less DRAM than SSDs with industry leading performance.
