雙主動叢集是一種資料韌性基礎架構,其中客戶端工作負載分佈在叢集兩個或更多的節點,如此一來,組件意外故障時,仍能維持資料安全並且可用。

雙主動叢集的優勢

雙主動叢集共同具備的優勢包含:

  • 任務關鍵應用程式跨資料中心、園區和都會的的高可用性
  • 跨伺服器叢集的負載平衡
  • 資料備用和彈性(即使一個站點發生故障,也可繼續正常運作)

為何雙主動 vs. 主/被動?

當使用高可用性 (HA) 叢集時,您會在資料儲存裝置中遇到的兩個主要配置為:

  • 雙主動叢集:客戶機器連接至負載平衡器,平衡器分配其工作負載至多個活躍的伺服器。
  • 主/被動叢集:客戶機器連接至主要伺服器,伺服器處理主要工作負載,同時備份伺服器維持待命,故障時才會啟動。

這兩種基礎架構的關鍵不同之處在於效能。雙主動叢集給您在正常運轉時存取所有伺服器資源的權限。在主/被動叢集中,備份伺服器只有在故障轉移時才會有動作。
