So Oh So good morning, um, want to thank everybody for coming on behalf of everybody at Pure, if you're a customer, partner, uh, I wanna thank you for, uh, you know, being part of the Pure family and if you're a prospect, come back next year as a customer and I'll thank you too. Um, so I want to talk to you about a few of the things, uh,
00:29
that really excite me about the next couple of years at Pure. Uh, I will also, by the way, uh, tell you my Sirius XM story super quickly. I've been a customer of them for a long time. Uh, I was, uh, driving my car and they started coming out with satellite radio. That had Major League Baseball broadcasts. And of course,
00:53
I grew up on the East Coast. I'm a New York Yankees fan. Apologies to any Red Sox fans out there. Uh, and I could get my Yankees games. So I went to my wife and I said, I've got to go buy a new car because I can get Sirius XM and get MLB on it. And, uh, ever since I've had a car that has all my baseball games on it.
01:15
Uh, if you are a pure customer, you will always get my business whenever I see you, uh, your products. So, um, You know, one of the things that, uh, no accelerate would be complete, uh, without talking about is our DFMs, right? Our direct flash software, that's what distinguishes us from every other product out there.
01:38
The simplicity that we've put or that we've taken out of the flash modules is so key to the performance, the reliability, and the consistency. So, you've all seen, we're shipping 150 terabyte modules, wouldn't be complete. If I didn't show you that later this year, we're gonna start shipping a 300 terabyte direct flash module.
02:10
And if you think about it, these things, you know, 300 terabytes, well, it doesn't really make it that much heavier because those electrons are pretty light. So it uses basically the same power as 150. So double your density, have your power. Uh, you know, it's just a win all around and of course next year you can probably guess I'll be
02:33
standing up on stage talking about a 600 terabyte module and Bill Cerreta down there will make sure that shortly after that I'm able to talk about putting more than 1 petabyte in one of these. You know, and we're using that to go after the, uh, you know, the final bastion of the disk market, low performance, ultra high capacity storage, uh, you know,
03:02
you see that in our thrust to hyper scalars, and that's one of the things that keeps me at pure the chance to finally get rid of all of the discs out there. So my mission won't be complete until we've eliminated every single hard drive, and the whole world is running on flash. Or tape. Uh, and I know how much all of you like tape.
03:26
Uh, but the other thing that I really want to talk to you about is the enterprise data cloud. And you know, I just want you to think with the enterprise data cloud about what a revolution it is because it is truly exciting. When we started the company, we believed there was a better way to do storage. And many of you who've been with us for a while remember when I tried to say,
03:49
OK, everything you need to know to run your storage should fit on two sides of a business card. Which of course, we failed utterly because it's a tent. It's not a business card. Right? But this was the kind of simplicity we strove for. So now you think about your enterprise data
04:07
cloud. And I'm really excited that what we're able to do is really get people to plan their storage. You know, today, think about, you have a, uh, you know, file system on your laptop. You go to save a file.
04:26
Every time you save a file, you make an individual decision at that point in time about what am I gonna name it. Where am I gonna put it? Uh, you know, it's a mess because you don't make a consistent decision every time. Right, you change your mind. Oh, I'm gonna name this with this date, you know, every quarter I have to go send my
04:53
accountant like a pay stub. I download it from the pure website and what do I name it, right? Because I'm just like, oh, I'm naming, I'm gonna just like save the file and then I'm gonna email it to her so that she can do my estimated taxes and I give it some dumb name and then my laptop is full of this clutter because I don't remember to delete the file immediately.
05:14
With an enterprise data cloud, you will plan your storage. We've talked about presets, we've talked about the data mobility. We've talked about the fact that you're going to be able to utilize your entire infrastructure in a more seamless fashion. And the enterprise data cloud will let you turn all of your storage assets into something where
05:36
you plan the utilization where you organize it. So it'll help you with compliance, it will help you with control, it will help you manage change and it will increase your agility. And I just wanted to leave you with that if you take away nothing else from everything you've seen at this conference and everything you see the rest of today.
05:57
The Enterprise Data Cloud will let you plan your entire storage environment so that you have an absolutely fabulous experience. So, that's what I'm really excited about. That's what I'm gonna be focusing on for the next several years at Pure. And, you know, with that, I'd like to, again, thank everyone for coming and I'd like to
06:18
welcome back Lynn Lucas to the stage.
