The Greener Path to a Sustainable Data Architecture

The Greener Path

Ebook

(14 pages, 1 MB)

In 2020 alone 64.2ZB of data was created or replicated globally, as businesses accelerated their digital transformation plans against the backdrop of a global pandemic1. Forecasts also indicate that global data creation and replication will experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23% between 2020 and 20251.

This trend is particularly significant in Southeast Asia (SEA), where a large population of youth and their rising consumption of digital products and services, including e-commerce2 and digital banking activities have been driving data growth even before the pandemic3.

Read the ebook to learn:

  • The sustainability challenges facing IT leaders
  • Towards a greener data centre
  • The advantages of all-flash storage infrastructure
  • Closing the loop on sustainability

As a first step towards developing a sustainability strategy, data centre providers, as well as IT and business leaders in SEA, need to understand the environmental impact of data infrastructure across the region.
